Girls can but Boys cannot

People hold their hands for different purposes. It could be a part of prayer, hand shaking as a sign of good luck or congratulating for winning such event, to show sportsmanship while in a game, or to show closeness in friendship. But most of these people do it with love showing physical intimacy not necessarily of erotic character.

In Arab countries, Africa and some parts of Asia, holding hands whether lovers, friends, with same culture and gender or not, it is also done by men.

Just this morning as I enter the gate of our compound, I encountered this two old men assigned at Soapery Department, holding each hands as they went through the guard house. I just cant stop my eyes directing to this two mascular hands swaying as this two old men seriously walking. Lots of questions queued into my mind like why is it that we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands? and why is that we dont put any malicious thoughts to those two girls holding their hands than boys? Then I went inside the cubicle, sitting in front of my computer then start searching for some reason of this unanswered questions. Suddenly, I recalled what I saw just this morning, and I laughed. Non-sense topic to explore better start to work.

maybe because thats hoe Filipino thinks. Masyado kasi taong malisyoso lalo na kung hindi pangkaraniwan sa atin yung nakita natin. For some reason, ito na rin siguro ang dahilan ng mabagal nating pagunlad....
I think we have to be open for this...
