Unanticipated scenario: Bye Cebu for 1 night

It was Thursday afternoon when my auntie called in the office that i have to find for a blood donor type AB+ for a blood transfusion intended for my uncle who was currently admitted in the hospital somewhere in Leyte. I got out early from the office and went to different blood banks in Cebu. It was late in the evening when i arrived to a certain blood bank so the staff in-charge advised me to better get the blood by the next day since it was already so late to carry the blood to Leyte.

THE PREPARATION

The next day i instructed my cousin to go to terminal and to contact me when he arrives. Then i went to the ticketing office and choose to buy a Supercat ticket going to Ormoc since it needs an immediate transport. After that i let myself get busy preparing those documents needed to purchase the blood. Exactly 4 o'clock when i arrived at the blood bank, with some interviews and conversations with the doctor it takes almost 20 minutes before i successfully handed the blood. Then i traveled again towards the pier wherein i supposed that my cousin was already there.

5 minutes BEFORE DEPARTURE

Exactly 4:35 P.M when i arrived at the pier but my cousin was not yet there so i give him a succeeding calls but sad to say he cant able to catch up the departure time since he was behind a heavy traffic. Then the porter told me that i cant wait any longer since the ship will now depart. I have no choice but to go inside the ship and be the one to carry the blood. Just a few seconds when i seated inside, the ship departed. I called my sister at home that i was the one who traveled in behalf of my cousin, and they were panic yet laughing at me to that unexpected scenario that i have to risk just for the sake of my uncle.

I successfully carried the blood and when i arrived at the hospital they transfused the blood to the patient after those certain blood screening. By the next day, i traveled again back here in Cebu.
"Traveling unexpectedly w/ no other things on hands, w/ a ticket not in my name and just w/ the cloth i wore and the blood inside the container was in me, that was really an exciting event happened to me."

Driving Lesson

September 7, 2009 was considered for me as one of the greatest family bonding in my early 20's. Together with my sister, little brother, nephews & nieces, and my father, we decided to have a driving lesson at an open, abandoned area formerly a quarry located at Bacayan, Cebu. It was really a nice experience driving a motor bike and a car with your father at your side teaching you some techniques. Through that way, we were bonded in a short period of time. Actually, this was my second time having this experience though in my first time, i encountered lots of injuries & burns but that greatly helps me to learn and balance my entire body while driving, as they say "experience are great teacher". Finally the most exciting part was about to happen. After practicing a couple of hours, lil bro, ate, and I were competing to get the shortest time and finish 3 laps. But i will not be mentioning who wins. haha!

On our way home, my 9 year-old nephew drove the motor bike and i was riding him. So amazing to see a very little boy driving a bike with a passenger on his back. We were the stars of the day that time because all those eyes full of surprises were staring on us as we pass each houses beside the highway. hmp! lemme do it once again.
